When he's not making bee things, Jeff is managing principal at RBMM, the brand identity arm of advertising agency The Richards Group.

Over the course of his career, he has done identity, retail branding, illustration, and investor communications projects for 7-Eleven, the American Heart Association, Central Market/H-E-B, Crate and Barrel, the Dallas Museum of Art, Fossil, Hallmark, Hasbro, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, The Home Depot, IBM, KEXP Seattle, Neenah Paper, Nickelodeon, Pepsi, Sally Beauty Supply, Sappi Fine Paper, Sony, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, and Yum! Brands, to name a few.

Jeff is a past president of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications, and has served on its board of directors for ten years. He is past editor-in-chief of Rough magazine, the monthly publication of the DSVC. He has been asked to show his work and address several professional groups and university programs, and is honored to have judged several design competitions, including the prestigious Communication Arts Design Annual.

In 2005, he cofounded the Annual National Student Show & Conference, one of his proudest achievements. Each year, the nation’s largest creative competition and conference attracts over 600 students and educators from across the United States, inspires those students with top creative professional speakers and workshops, and doles out around $20,000 in scholarships and show prizes.

Jeff holds degrees in design, illustration, and marine biology from the University of Arizona. You can guess how handy the marine biology degree comes in these days.
