monument valley

Not that this is breaking news, as this app has been out awhile, but we couldn't resist blogging about a game app we ran across. If you haven't heard of Monument Valley by now, you're in luck. This little puzzle game is one of the most beautiful apps I've ever seen – it's like playing a moving illustration. It's won a ton of awards (including an Apple design award), and is candy for the eyes and ears (the music and sound effects are just amazing, and like the game, tranquil and pleasing). Definitely give this one a try, and be sure to play it when you have a quiet few minutes, not when you're waiting in line at the DMV or watching your screaming kids at soccer practice. It'll be a treat for sure. –Jeff
