dwell with dignity project

Shay and Jeff were honored to be asked to participate in a project for Dwell With Dignity, a local organization that helps families escape poverty and homelessness through design one household at a time. Dwell With Dignity picks a home or apartment complex that could use a makeover through design, puts together a team of volunteers, and gives it a fantastic refresh using paint, new furnishings and appliances, and art. Bee Things was asked to make a mural for one of their projects. Using a found door, we painted a fun collage illustration using acrylic and house paints, and dowels and furniture parts from The Home Depot. We had a blast, and help it brought a little color and joy to some folks in need.
